James Baker, DDS
Dr. Baker began his practice as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1979.
He completed dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 1974. This was followed by a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 1975-1979.
He has maintained a private practice in Oklahoma City since the completion of his residency and achieved certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1981.
Dr. Baker served at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as Chairman of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and as Residency Director in 1991-1992, and remains an associate clinical professor.
Dr. Baker previously served as Chairman of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department of Saint Anthony’s Hospital and Baptist Medical Center.12
Austin Leavitt, MS, CFP®

Austin started at OMSP in 2015 and works with retiring oral surgeons to transition their business to next generation professionals. This includes establishing relationships, goals and candidate(s) essential to making the process as seamless as possible. He also has eight years’ experience in software and technology branch of the medical billing and coding industry.
Austin earned a double major in Business and Finance with a minor in Economics from Utah Valley University. He then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, with a master's certificate in Charitable Planning.
Curtis J. Bowman, DDS
Dr. Bowman began his private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004, and has been located in north central Oklahoma for his entire career. He specializes in treatment of both children and adults.
Dr. Bowman completed his dental school education at the University of Detroit-Mercy in 1998. He then completed two years at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in a surgical internship. He completed his surgical training with a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, and was Chief Resident from June 2003 to July 2004.
Dr. Bowman received his certification from the National Dental Board of Anesthesia in 2005 and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2006 and regularly participates in continuing education both as a lecturer and participant.
Dr. Bowman has served as president of the Oklahoma State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and associated clinical professor at University of Oklahoma Medical Center. He currently holds an elected position as board member of the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry.
Dr. Bowman practices the full scope of his specialty and maintains privileges at several peer-reviewed hospitals.
Jeffrey N. Kenney, DDS
Dr. Jeffrey N. Kenney was born in Rochester, New York, and grew up in Ohio, New York and North Carolina. In 1976, he entered the University of Miami where he was one of the only ten University Scholars. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1980. He then began dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980, and earned his D.D.S. degree in 1984, graduating in the top of his class. He was one of only two candidates accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at VCU/MCV in 1984. Dr. Kenney completed his four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at VCU/MCV in 1988, and has been in Newport News in private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ever since.
Dr. Kenney is a licensed dentist and is registered and licensed to practice as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the commonwealth of Virginia. He has been certified as a diplomate by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1990. Dr. Kenney is a member and fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is a member of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Peninsula Dental Society. He has served in many professional positions with these organizations, and is a past-president of the Peninsula Dental Society. Dr. Kenney is a fellow of the American College o Dentistry, and is a fellow of the international College of Dentistry as well.
M. Edmund Braly, DDS
Residency and DDS: University of Oklahoma College of Dentisty. Completed residency in 1980 and is Board Certified. Serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at OU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Braly is a member of the American College of Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia.
Dr. Braly is currently Vice President of the Oklahoma Dental Association and has served as Secretary/Treasurer.
Dr. Braly is a Physician Surveyor for AAAHC and has been appointed to serve as the Committee on Office Based Surgery by the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.
Patrick Wallace, DDS
Dr. Patrick Wallace was raised Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry in 1986. After earning his DDS degree in 1990, Dr. Wallace completed an Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in 1994 and has been in private practice since.

Ron Tankersley, DDS
Dr. Ron Tankersley graduated from Warwick High School in Newport News, Virginia. After completing his pre-dental education at the College of William and Mary, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia (now the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University) in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Tankersley's academic awards at the Medical College of Virginia included Sigma Zeta for academic achievement in the basic sciences, Omicron Kappa Upsilon for overall academic achievement, and two annual A.D. Williams Scholarship Awards for highest academic achievement in his class. He is a Diplomate of the America Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and served as an examiner on the Board. He is also certified by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
He has been in private practice in Newport News, Virginia since 1971. As an Adjunct Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he also maintains a relationship with the Medical College of Virginia.
Advocating for the profession and the oral health of the public has been an important part of Dr. Tankersley’s career. He served as President of the Peninsula Dental Society, the Virginia Dental Association, the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. He is currently a Regent-at-Large for the American College of Dentists.
Professional honors include Fellowship in the Virginia Dental Association, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is recipient of the Virginia Dental Association's President’s Award for distinguished service, the Pierre Fauchard Academy's State Award of Recognition, the Medical College of Virginia’s Dr. Harry Lyons Outstanding Dental Alumnus Award, and Virginia Commonwealth University’s Alumni Star Award.
